Bâtonnage Forum 2024

For women in wine: Bâtonnage is dedicated to creating lasting change within the wine industry by supporting and empowering women at any phase in their career through Mentorship, Community Building, Networking, and Job Opportunities.

We’ve reimagined the Bâtonnage Forum for 2024 to bring these core tenets to life on May 9th, and we’re delighted to welcome members of our community to gather, connect, and celebrate women in wine.

The afternoon program will be broken into two sessions:

3:00-4:30 Mentorship Panel Discussion & Networking Break-out Sessions
In this panel discussion, we’ll highlight three pairs of women in the wine industry who have transitioned from traditional mentorship roles to becoming champions for each other's success. They will share their experiences of creating environments that foster opportunities for growth and advancement.

The panel will be followed by small breakout groups that will delve deeper into the challenges women face within the wine industry and to brainstorm collective solutions to overcome these obstacles. Participants will engage in interactive discussions and activities to identify and discuss challenges, explore collective solutions and action plans, and create a supportive network. 

4:30-6:00 Tasting of Women-Made Wines
Join us on the patio of Artesa Winery overlooking Carneros' rolling hills for an evening of networking, conversation, and wine tasting featuring selections crafted by talented women in our community. Connect with fellow women in the wine industry, enjoy breathtaking views, and celebrate the achievements of women in wine, while fostering meaningful connections and supporting each other's success.
