Priyanka French - Program Lead
Originally from Mumbai, Priyanka French is one of the few female Indians to hold a Master of Science in Viticulture and Enology from University of California, Davis. She built her experience working at wineries in Napa as well as traveling through the regions of Burgundy, Cognac, Bordeaux and New Zealand. Prior to joining Signorello Estate as Winemaker, she worked at Dalla Valle Vineyards where she had a chance to clearly understand the importance of female led businesses and initiatives. Her winemaking style focusses on precision viticulture and restrained winemaking that allows fruit expression as dictated by the site. In her new role, she hopes to open avenues for diversity in the industry and always remain a supporter of female driven enterprises.

JiaMin Dierberg - Level 2
Native Chinese, immigrated to the U.S. after obtaining B.S. degree from Kansai University in Japan. Joined family business Star Lane & Dierberg Vineyards in 2008 and since has been building export business in Asia and beyond. In the midst of pandemic, JiaMin started her involvement in management of other family businesses in Hermann, Missouri including a winery, several tasting rooms, brewery and pub, restaurant and an upscale lodging operation. JiaMin has also actively involved in various nonprofit organizations with their development and fundraising needs. She serves on several boards including St. Louis Contemporary Art Museum, City Academy, St. Louis Modern Chinese School, Missouri Botanical Garden, Dierberg Educational Foundation and Best USA Educational Foundation. JiaMin enjoys food and wine, art, travel, cooking and gardening.

Taïs Tillman - Level 2
Taïs graduated with a degree in Business, and a minor in Human Resource Management. After spending almost a decade doing HR for big tech, she made the decision to move to Italy to study wine. Upon her return to the US, she started working in the wine industry where she has worked as a Director in a membership-based marketing organization, a GM of small and medium wineries, and an operational consultant. Taïs currently works developing and executing strategic marketing educational programs for winery clients in the US and abroad.

Sarah Pearson - Level 2
Sarah Pearson is CEO at Dobbes Family Estate/Wine by Joe. Most recently, Pearson served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at the company, where she led marketing and sales efforts in all channels of the Dobbes Family Estate and Wine by Joe business including direct to consumer, domestic wholesale and export sales and marketing. Prior to her move to Oregon in 2018, she was Marketing Director at 3 Badge Beverage in Sonoma where she oversaw marketing for the beer, wine and spirits divisions. Earlier, she served as Director of Marketing at Hess Family Wine Estates in Napa where she led the direct to consumer and brand marketing efforts for seven domestic and international brands.
In addition, she held key marketing positions with Constellation Brands, Freixenet USA and Treasury Wine Estates leading cross-functional teams in consumer and brand marketing efforts, including the development of new products, the revitalization of existing brands with new packaging and focused channel marketing efforts.
A graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, Pearson is multi-lingual in Spanish, French and Hebrew, and is a certified Spanish Wine Educator, granted by the Spanish Wine Academy in San Francisco. She holds the WSET Level 2 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and the Basic Certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers. She studied French at La Sorbonne in Paris.

Eva Bertran - Level 2
Eva Bertran was raised in Barcelona, Spain, to a wine merchant family that goes back generations.
After earning her MBA at ESADE, she moved to Sonoma, California, in 1987 as part of the original team that launched Gloria Ferrer Winery. For over 30 years, Eva formed part of the management team of both Gloria Ferrer Winery and the Ferrer family import company, Freixenet USA, where she launched and grew brands both boutique and high-volume brands from over 20 of the best-known appellations in eight countries, spanning Old and New World.
Over those three decades, Eva oversaw the winery’s operations and developed great teams to lead in Marketing, Communications, DTC, Sales, and Finance. She traveled extensively as an ambassador to sales teams, distributors, trade organizations, and the public at events and tastings. In 2019, she founded a business consulting company, Eva Bertran Consulting LLC, that assists domestic and import wineries and trade associations with strategic planning, business development, and sales plans.
Eva has served on the board and as President of Sonoma County Vintners, Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers. She was member of various committees in those associations as well as the California Wine Institute and Carneros Wine Alliance. She worked closely with Foods & Wines from Spain, SOPEXA (France), Wines from Argentina, and Wines from Italy. She also serves as member of the Program Development Committee for the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium.
Eva is fluent in English, Catalan, Spanish, French, and Italian, and has traveled to over 50 appellations around the world.

Janet Pagano - Level 2
Janet Pagano is COO for BRAND Napa Valley. SHe is a wine industry executive specializing in general management, luxury brand development, direct-to-consumer marketing, business start-ups, transactions, winery construction and vineyard development.
